Privacy policy
How Plumbix collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in connection with this website and our services.
Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Last reviewed: 1 July 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Plumbix handles personal information collected through plumbix.pro, through enquiries and proposals, and in the course of delivering managed advertising services to clients.
Where we manage advertising campaigns on a client's own platform accounts, that client is usually the controller of the data processed in those accounts and we act on their documented instructions. Our processing role is set out in the engagement contract.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries, deliver services and run this website securely.
- Contact details you submit through forms, including name, company, role, email address and the content of your message.
- Newsletter subscription details, being your email address and subscription status.
- Recruitment information you send us, including a curriculum vitae and any supporting material.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages viewed, collected through server logs and, with consent, analytics cookies.
- Business contact details of client and supplier personnel processed during an engagement.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries and prepare proposals, to deliver contracted services, to send the newsletter where you have subscribed, to administer recruitment, to maintain the security and performance of this website, and to comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one; our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business, provided your rights do not override them; your consent, for optional analytics cookies and newsletter subscription; and compliance with legal obligations.
When we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary, with hosting and email providers who operate our infrastructure, with analytics providers where consent has been given, with professional advisers, and where required by law or to protect our rights.
Service providers act under written terms limiting their use of the information to the services they provide to us.
International transfers
Our infrastructure and some service providers are located in the United States and the European Union. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we put in place appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent recognised mechanism.
How long we keep information
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to twenty-four months after the last contact. Client engagement records are retained for the period required by contract and applicable accounting law. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Recruitment material is retained for six months unless you consent to a longer period. Server logs are retained for up to twelve months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls based on least privilege, logging, and periodic review of supplier arrangements. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website and our services are directed to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be signalled prominently on this page.
