Our commitment

We want plumbix.pro to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

Conformance standard

This website has been designed and built with the aim of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. That target guides our design and build decisions, and we test against it internally.

We describe this as our target rather than as verified conformance. An independent audit has not been completed, and we will update this statement when one has.

Measures taken

The following are built into the site.

  • Semantic HTML structure with landmark regions and a logical heading order.
  • A skip link to the main content region on every page.
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • Keyboard operation for navigation, accordions, the testimonial carousel and all forms.
  • Text and interface colour combinations checked against WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Form labels, hints and error messages associated programmatically with their inputs.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Full respect for the reduce-motion preference, which disables animation and smooth scrolling.

Known limitations

Third-party embedded content, such as a map embed, may not fully meet our accessibility target because we do not control its markup. Where an embed presents a barrier, the same information is provided in text on the page.

Downloadable documents produced before this statement may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We will provide an accessible alternative on request.

Reporting a problem

If you encounter a barrier, email us with the page address, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to describe a fix or a workaround within ten.

If you are not satisfied with our response, tell us and we will escalate the matter internally.
